Resume Data: This includes the information you manually enter into the resume builder or upload via PDF/DOCX import.

Account Information: If you create an account, we collect your email address and name to sync your resumes across devices.

Usage Data: We collect anonymous data about how you interact with the site (e.g., which templates are most popular) to improve the user experience.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide the core resume building service.
  • To sync your data across your logged-in devices.
  • To provide AI-powered resume rewriting and extraction features.
  • To process payments for Resuby Premium.
  • To improve our templates and editor based on usage patterns.

4. Data Storage & Security

By default, your resume data is stored locally in your browser cache. If you create an account, your data is synced to our secure cloud servers (Firebase) which are encrypted at rest and in transit. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information.

5. Third-Party Services

We use selected third-party services to power Resuby:

  • AI Providers: Google Gemini and Groq (for AI features). Data sent is used only for inference and not for training.
  • Analytics: PostHog (for anonymous usage tracking).
  • Payments: Stripe (for Premium subscriptions). We never see or store your credit card details.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data at any time. You can delete your entire account and all associated data directly from the settings page.
